Christmas and New Year Break

The salon will be open right up until the 23rd, then closed for the period between Christmas and New Year, re-opening on Monday 2nd January. To make an appointment before Christmas, call Mark on 608 633 000.

Mark and Monika are enjoying a belated honeymoon in Greece from the 15th to 26th of September. After a couple of years at the TIGI Boutique, at Na Svihance 2, Hair by Mark Phillip has moved to the other side of Korunni.

From now on you can find Mark at the new salon he has opened with Monika, his fiancee, in a similar kind of space, at Lužická 27, Prague 2. All the phone numbers remain the same, just remember to go to the right address for your next haircut!

Mark is slowly recovering from his surgery and is managing to see a few clients. Whilst he recovers he is continuing to be helped out by a few of his assistant stylists from the Manesova days and overseeing their work, so you can be sure of a superb cut, even if Mark himself isn’t the person operating the scissors.

Monika’s years of experience as co-owner of Kosmetické Studio, just round the corner at Chodska 21 mean our new salon, formally called M&M Hair by Mark Phillip will be your one-stop solution for manicure, pedicure, waxing and Brazilian waxing.

Check the website again in the near future for more updates on the wide range of beauty services on offer at the new salon.

Mark is having an operation on his shoulder on the 23rd of March. Because of the discomfort it causes him, he has arranged for assistants to do much of the ancillary work involved in a cut, such as washing and blow-drying.

If you’ve been putting off scheduling an appointment, or are waiting till April, please consider booking for March. Mark is available right up to the 22nd of March so please call to arrange an appointment.

After his operation Mark will be in recovery for at least 6 weeks when he won’t be able to cut hair so during that time he will be overseeing other hairdressers (many of Mark’s former staff from the salon on Manesova) in the salon as they cut, but these sessions will be limited to specific days, and can be booked from mid April onwards.

The salon is now closed for the Christmas break. Mark is back from Monday the 3rd of January to tend to your styling needs.

Mark will be on holiday on South Africa from the 27th October to 10th November, so if you’d like to make an appointment up to and including the 26th of October book now. Available slots are filling up fast so if you need a cut or treatment in the next month, call Mark soon to reserve. Mark is back to work on Thursday 11th November.

Mark will be on vacation visiting friends and family in South Africa over the Christmas and New Year period so slots are filling up fast.

The last day for appointments is the 15th of December. Mark will be back in the salon, refreshed and raring to snip from the 7th of January.
